New Entertainment Venue in Chandler

CHANDLER, AZ (September 15, 2025) -- A former LOOK Dine-In Cinemas, 35,165 square foot property in downtown Chandler, is set for a new chapter. Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR’s Denisse Angulo-Badilla, International Real Estate Specialist, recently represented a tenant to lease this high-profile property at 1 West Chandler Blvd, a busy intersection at Chandler Blvd and Arizona Ave.

Like many theaters, this LOOK Dine-In Cinema was severely impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequently struggled under the ownership of a second theater operator. With its newer construction, large footprint, and high-profile location, Angulo-Badilla saw an opportunity. She presented it as a strong candidate for adaptive reuse as an experiential retail concept: Padeland, Arizona’s first indoor padel and pickleball club with a brewery.

Padeland combines five padel tennis courts and three pickleball courts with a mix of lifestyle amenities. Beyond the courts, visitors can enjoy a brewery and taproom, coffee bar, restaurant, coworking spaces, and wellness features such as cold plunge therapy and a sauna. Led by Daniel Maldonado and Alejandro Serna, Padeland brings a fresh mix of sport, social, wellness, and workspace to downtown Chandler.

Set to open in late 2025, Padeland represents the first phase of a broader redevelopment vision in downtown Chandler. The city has announced plans to revitalize the surrounding area with new restaurants, a brewery, and indoor arcade games, creating an expanded entertainment district.
