Tucson Lease Report

TUCSON, AZ (September 8, 2025) — A total of 63,726 square feet of lease activity was reported in Southern Arizona for the week of September 2–5, 2025. The most significant trend this week was in the industrial sector: all 34,989 square feet of industrial activity came from renewals, with no new industrial leases reported. This highlights the stability of existing occupancies but shows no fresh absorption in the industrial sector.

By comparison, retail led new leasing activity with 12,642 square feet across several tenants, including Stacks Book Club, Back Nine, Angie’s Prime Grill, and Chill N Ice Cream. Office accounted for 4,475 square feet of new leases, balanced by a major renewal at Ina Corporate Center. The medical sector recorded one new lease totaling 1,988 square feet.

This week’s leasing activity underscores a stable industrial market driven by tenant retention, while new demand is showing up more strongly in retail and office.
